As a service provider, one of the most fulfilling things is knowing that you have helped make a positive impact on someone’s life. And that’s exactly what we were able to achieve for our client, Lara P.
From the moment Lara reached out to us, we could tell that she was in a difficult place financially. But instead of turning her away, we were committed to helping her get back on track. We worked closely with Lara to understand her situation, and to come up with a plan that would help her regain control over her finances.
Lara said when she applied that when she turned 18, she opened a Zippay account, and it went downhill from there. She started taking out small silly payday loans to buy unnecessary things. She then moved away from her hometown and had no job for a few months and started taking out loans again because she remembered how easy it was. She then started her apprenticeship which was a lower paying rate leaving her unable to keep up with the number of payments. As well as being unstable with Centrelink payments.
Over the course of plan with us, we provided Lara with the support and guidance she needed to stay on track. And it wasn’t just about providing her with financial assistance – we also made sure to be there for her emotionally, as we understood that financial difficulties can take a toll on one’s mental health.
Through it all, Lara remained steadfast in her commitment to turning her life around. And we were more than happy to be by her side every step of the way. When we received her email thanking us for our service, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and fulfilment. It’s always gratifying to know that our work is making a difference in the lives of our clients.
